Gretchen Norris (formerly Fromke) is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling, and her Bachelor of Arts from Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL. Before pursing her counseling credentials Gretchen worked professionally in the banking industry.

Gretchen’s approach to counseling is relational and interpersonal. She believes that working with a non-judgmental counselor in a safe, confidential environment can be a source of hope and healing, clarity and growth. Her training is integrative, taking into account the emotional, physical, and social aspects of a person’s life.

She enjoys working with individuals (adolescents and adults), couples and families. Her clinical interests include helping clients through grief and loss, anxiety and depression, premarital and marital counseling, divorce recovery, blended family/step-family issues, women’s issues, life transitions, spiritual growth, parenting, substance use, disordered eating, trauma recovery, and self-harm.
