Patricia Wade is a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider status.  Her passion is working with women and young adults in a college setting. Patricia has a particular interest in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), IFT (Internal Family Systems), and the Enneagram.

Before pursuing her counseling credentials, Patricia worked professionally as director of women’s ministry and international missions at a local church. Today, she is also the executive director of a non-profit organization for women’s ministry. After realizing her need for additional training, Patricia attended Liberty University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. She previously earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Religious Studies at Liberty University.

As a Christian counselor, Patricia readily acknowledges and values cultural differences and respects all people who come with different backgrounds, experiences, and beliefs. She believes in an integrated approach to thought, emotion, and behavior in order to help people transform the way they live, love, learn and lead. Her desire is to see people thrive in relation to themselves, others, and God.

Patricia and her husband Andy have three daughters and two sons-in-law. When she isn’t working, Patricia enjoys family, good friends, long walks, reading, sunsets on the lake, great food, and travel.
