Brian Davis is a graduate of Liberty University in the Clinical Mental Health Program. He also is a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. He has spent the last three years working as a Hospice Chaplain and Grief Support. He feels called to work with people experiencing grief from life transitions such as experiencing the death of a loved one, divorce, the ending of a relationship, or from another types of loss. He also feels called to work with persons dealing with depression and anxiety issues. In particular, he would like to work with men dealing with adult male issues of all kinds.
Brian spent the first sixteen years after graduate school as a pastor in Eastern Tennessee. After leaving church ministry, he began working with families through Hospice. In working with families, he realized that he wanted to learn more skills in helping individuals deal with grieving the loss of a loved one. He now desires to become a Licensed Professional Counselor and to work with adults in overcoming life’s difficulties.
Brian believes that every person is created in the Image of God and is deeply loved by God. As such, he believes it is important to respect the dignity of each person and show them the love and grace of Jesus Christ in the midst of life’s challenges.
Brian was raised in Chattanooga where he went to college and later served two churches for 13 years. He moved to Knoxville in 2015. He is married and has a blended family of four children ages 15-10 and has a cat and a dog. He loves all things Tennessee sports, hiking, traveling, and spending time with his family.
