Amy Malcolm is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She enjoys working with teens, young adults, and women of all ages. Her areas of clinical focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship, and women's issues. Since having her daughters, Amy feels God is leading her to use her own experience to help other new moms navigate postpartum challenges and life as a new mom. Amy has a heart for teens and young adults struggling with confidence, body image, and other general struggles that arise during these challenging years.
Amy attended Bryan College for her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Soul Care and received her Masters in Social Work with a Trauma certificate from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Amy has worked within the Loudon County School system, as well as, with individuals of all ages in an outpatient setting for the past three years. Amy integrates many different theories in her practice to meet the specific needs of each individual client.
During Amy's time pursuing her undergraduate degree, she discovered the freedom and healing that comes from therapy which sparked her passion for helping others. As a therapist, Amy values the opportunity to walk alongside her clients in facing and overcoming the varying challenges they face in life.
Amy grew up in Knoxville and loves being a part of this community. Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, Rasheed, and daughters, Caroline and Charlotte, as well as family, friends, and entertaining their two energetic dogs Bailey and Kaia.
