Life is filled with both joy and sorrow, clarity and uncertainty. For those whose journeys have taken them through dark valleys and confusing paths, Ashley Butler, LMSW delights in drawing alongside people to offer new ways to heal, hope, and navigate forward.
No matter what you have experienced, Ashley would consider it an honor to walk with you on your journey towards healing, wholeness, and clarity and believes that instilling hope, bringing self-awareness, and practicing lament are key parts of that journey as sufferers in a broken world.
Ashley specializes in warm, compassionate support as you explore what is holding you back from the fullness of life you were made for. Ashley works with male and female adolescents and college-age students, focusing on depression, anxiety, relationships, friendship issues, family communication, life transitions, and spiritual issues.
Ashley also specializes in women’s issues across all life stages, caring for those wrestling with depression, anxiety, OCD, anger, shame, grief, prolonged singleness, and loss. She also provides care and support for the unique challenges mothers of young children face as well as the complexities, difficulty, and change during pre-conception, pregnancy and postpartum.
Ashley has a Master’s of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, and is currently working towards full clinic licensure as a LCSW. She integrates various counseling modalities to suit the needs of each individual. Ashley grounds all of her work in a Biblical Christian worldview, but will honor whether or how much you prefer spiritual conversations to be present in counseling with her.
Ashley and her husband, Robert, have been married since 2011 and have four amazing children! They are active in their local church and love pursuing sports, music, reading, games, and time with family and friends.
You were made for healing and wholeness. If you are feeling stuck and are ready for change and growth in a compassionate setting, Ashley would be honored to take that journey with you.
